- Abrasive grits used including aluminum oxide (A and WA), silicon carbide (C and GC) and their admixture (AC) as well as zirconium oxide (ZA), covering sizes of 16 ~ 320 mesh, so that from soft to hard metal and non-metal work-piece can be served:
- (a) A and WA: for alloy steel, mild steel, and stainless steel (such as INOX)
- (b) C and GC: for masonry work-piece
- (c) AC: for cast iron and non-ferrous metal (such as aluminum or bronze)
- (d) ZA: for cast iron and high alloy steel
- Resinoid binder yields soft (L, M, and N grades), medium (O, P, and Q grade), and hard (R, S, T grade) wheels. Softer grade binder is used for harder or thinner work-piece. On the contrary, harder grade binder is applied for softer workpiece.
